The Science Classroom in University – Affiliate School Project, Prince of Songkla University – PSU.Wittayanusorn school (SCiUS PSU Hatyai) has brought Grade 11 students to study visit in Seoul and Suwon, South Korea on 8-12 October 2024.
The students had the opportunity to visit Sungkyunkwan University, Natural Science Campus in Suwon, South Korea, a renowned institution in the field of natural sciences. They were warmly welcomed by Prof. Jeong Ha Kim and the research team.
The morning session included a tour of the university’s library, widely recognised for its comprehensive student services, and an introduction to the university itself along with an overview of the Marine Ecology Laboratory programme.
In the evening session, there will be a visit to laboratories in the College of Science, Sungkyunkwan University, divided according to the student’s interests into 3 topics:
The students have the opportunity to engage in discussions and ask questions with researchers in the laboratory, gaining new insights beyond the classroom and applying this knowledge to their own lab work.
